Sanitation Crew makes $15 per hour at The Chinook and Managers make $20 per hour.

Sanitation Staff Manager

The position of Sanitation Staff Manager will manage all sanitation staff and supervise all sanitation operations at events. The position is expected to ensure compliance with company and employee safety sanitation standards. The position should have excellent delegation, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage sanitation staff
• Manage day-to-day sanitation operations of shows and events
• Maintain inventory of sanitation supplies
• Prepare reports regarding inspections, sanitation violations, and corrective actions taken
• Work closely with on sanitation problems
• Monitor completed sanitation tasks
• Ensure a safe work environment for all employees
• Manage designated trash zones/areas

Requirements –

• Minimum 4 years of sanitation experience and 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize
• Must be able to bend, twist, kneel, squat, turn, reach, pull, push, balance and lift objects up to 50 pounds
• Must have the ability to stand, walk and move about for extended periods of time
• Ability to work weekends throughout late Spring, Summer, and early Fall months

 

Sanitation Crew

A member of the Sanitation Team is expected to work efficiently during and after events to clean the venue of all trash and debris while maintaining the designated trash zones/areas. Sanitation staff will report to the Sanitation Staff Manager.

Responsibilities –

• Able to competently complete a variety of tasks and other duties as requested
• Work as an effective team member
• Assists with sanitation in a variety of capacities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team

Requirements –

• No prior qualifications necessary, although experience in event sanitation preferred
• Ability to work weekends throughout late Spring, Summer, and early Fall months
• Must be able to bend, twist, kneel, squat, turn, reach, pull, push, balance and lift objects up to 50 pounds
• Must have the ability to stand, walk and move about for extended periods of time
